Version 2026-10 · Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of vero.cy. Part A applies to all visitors and account holders. Part B also applies to insurance advisors who try or buy a VÉRO CRM subscription. For personal data, see the Privacy policy.
A1. Who we are
vero.cy is operated by [legal name, address, registration number] (“VÉRO”, “we”). You can contact us through the Contact page. By using the website or creating an account, you accept these terms.
A2. Information, not advice
VÉRO’s articles, guides, Podcast, tools, Life Check and reports provide general information. They are not insurance, tax, legal or investment advice, nor an offer or recommendation of any specific product. Decisions are yours; before you decide, discuss your situation with a qualified professional.
The advisor featured on VÉRO, Giannis Farazis, is an insurance advisor with Eurolife. When you book an appointment with him, the conversation takes place in that capacity.
A3. Accuracy and limits of the tools
The tools make estimates from the figures you enter and simplified assumptions. Tax rules, contributions and policy terms change. We update the content with care, but we cannot guarantee that it is always complete, accurate or up to date for your situation. Before any decision, check the official figures and the terms of your policy.
A4. Your account
- Give accurate and up-to-date details.
- Each account belongs to one person. Accounts are intended for adults.
- Keep your password secret and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
- Advisor accounts are listed on VÉRO and receive shared information only after we have verified their licence.
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings.
A5. Appointments and working with an advisor
An appointment you book through VÉRO is a request until the advisor confirms it. You will receive an e-mail with a link to change or cancel it. Your relationship with an advisor, and any policy you may take out, is a separate arrangement between you, the advisor and the insurer; VÉRO is not a party to it.
A6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website for unlawful purposes;
- try to get around security measures or access other people’s accounts or data;
- collect content or data in bulk by automated means, or overload the website;
- send spam or malicious software through the forms;
- pretend to be another person or advisor;
- enter other people’s details without a lawful right to do so.
A7. Intellectual property
VÉRO’s texts, illustrations, design, tools and software belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to them. Republishing or commercial use needs our written permission. The details and results you save in your account remain yours.
A8. Links to other websites
The website contains links to third-party sources and websites. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
A9. Limitation of liability
The website and free tools are provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep them working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the website’s information or results, nor for indirect losses or loss of profit.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have under consumer protection law.
A10. Suspending or closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people’s security at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you the chance to download your data.
A11. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the version at the top of the page. For significant changes, we will tell you by e-mail or in your account before they apply.
A12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.
B1. Part B: who it applies to
Part B applies to insurance advisors and agencies (“you”) who start a trial of, or buy a subscription to, VÉRO CRM for their professional activity. You accept Part B when you start the trial or the purchase, and your acceptance is recorded together with the version of the terms. Part A applies to you as well.
B2. Plans and prices
The available plans, what they include and their prices are shown on the VÉRO CRM plans and pricing page. [To be clarified whether prices include VAT.]
B3. 14-day free trial
The trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. Nothing is charged. If you do not choose a plan by the end of the trial, your workspace becomes read-only: you can still view and export your data, and when you choose a plan you carry on where you left off.
B4. Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are monthly or annual and are charged in advance, at the start of each period, through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. Your card details are handled by Stripe; VÉRO never sees or stores them. [How invoices and receipts are issued: to be completed.]
B5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from billing management in the Advisor Hub. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; until then everything works as normal. After that, your workspace becomes read-only and you are not charged again. Refunds are covered by the Cancellations and refunds policy.
B6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically and we ask you to update your payment method. You have a 14-day grace period with full access. If the payment is still not completed by then, your workspace becomes read-only until it is.
B7. What read-only means
Read-only never deletes data. You can view and export all your data, but you cannot add or change records. With a new or reactivated subscription, you carry on where you left off.
B8. Your clients’ data
For your clients’ data that you enter in VÉRO CRM, you are the controller and VÉRO acts as your processor. The Data Processing Agreement [link or annex: to be completed] applies and forms part of these terms. We process the data only to provide the service to you and only on your instructions; we do not use it for our own purposes and we do not sell it.
On your side, you:
- have a lawful basis for the data you enter and inform your clients as the law requires;
- use what a citizen shares with you through VÉRO only for the purpose and period they set;
- keep your licence valid and tell us if it changes;
- keep your own and your team’s sign-in details secure.
B9. Export and deletion
You can export your data at any time, including in read-only mode. Your workspace and account are deleted when you ask, once the subscription has been cancelled. We recommend exporting first, because deletion is permanent. Deleted data is removed from the platform’s backups automatically within 21 days at the latest.
B10. Price changes
We tell you about price changes by e-mail at least 30 days before they apply, and they take effect from your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the renewal and you will not be charged the new price.
B11. Availability and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep VÉRO CRM available and secure. There may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control; we will tell you in advance about planned work where possible. Term A9 applies. [Liability cap for subscribers: to be decided.]
B12. Data on your devices and sync
VÉRO CRM keeps your workspace data on the device where you use it, so that it is fast and works offline. While you are signed in to your account, changes are synchronised with the platform, so you find them on all your devices and, in agencies, colleagues with the right role see them too. Transfers are always encrypted (HTTPS). Cloud backups you create are encrypted on your device with your own password before they are uploaded; without that password nobody, VÉRO included, can restore them.
You are responsible for the devices on which you use VÉRO CRM: screen lock, updates, the optional VÉRO device lock, and signing out of shared computers. If you lose a device, sign it out from your account and change your password.
B13. AI drafts
Where available, the drafts feature prepares texts (messages, summaries, meeting notes, review agendas) from what you type. The text of the request is sent to the AI provider only to return the draft. Drafts can contain mistakes: you check and correct them before you use them. Do not include health data or other special categories of data unless they are needed for the text you want.
B14. Your professional judgement
VÉRO CRM is a tool for organising your work. Its calculations (for example tax, contributions, cover gaps or priorities) are estimates based on the data you enter. The advice you give your clients, the suitability of each product, the documents you send them and compliance with the rules for insurance intermediaries remain your responsibility.
