Education savings goal
How much should you save each month so that the money for your child’s studies is there when it is needed?

For parents who want to plan early for studies in Cyprus or abroad. The tool puts numbers on a promise you want to keep for your child.
You will need an estimate of the cost of studies in today’s money, the years until studies start and whatever you have already saved for this purpose. Cost inflation and the return on savings are assumptions you can change.

How to read the result
The tool raises the goal with inflation up to the year it is needed, works out what your current savings will have grown to by then and finds the shortfall. The main result is the level monthly saving that covers it; you also see the goal at the time it is needed and the total of your monthly deposits.
When studies are more than 5 years away, the tool also shows how much the monthly effort would rise if you started 5 years later. If you enter 0 years, the amount missing today is shown instead.
What you can do next
- For goals beyond studies, such as a first capital sum or a car, try the child future planner.
- An education goal can be paired with life cover so it stays protected even if a parent is no longer there — see the life cover quick guide.
- Read the education guide.
- Book an appointment to see which savings plan fits the years you have left.
If you are signed in, you can save the result to My reports and, only if you choose to, send it to your advisor; nothing is shared automatically.
An estimate, not investment advice. Inflation compounds yearly; the return is nominal, compounds monthly and is not guaranteed. A level deposit at the end of each month is assumed; taxes, fees and market swings are not considered.
